If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to separate some parts as long as you're editing a building when you do so.
Or atleast this is my understanding of it, so if you want to easily make just one group then snap every part to each others. I wasn't able to make them into a one blueprint, but i may have figured out what prevented me from doing that: Seems to be as simple as IF you dont snap ALL the parts together in the first place, then they get put into separate groups. Make a blueprint out of one, then enter editing for the other and place the blueprint while editing.
